All of the live-work listings have the following features:
The units are from 200 to 500 sq. ft. in size and are newly renovated. Each unit is a single large room with a high ceiling and a custom storage loft. Most occupants have turned the loft storage platform into a sleeping platform. Each unit contains a wet bar sink with bar size refrigerator.
The restrooms and showers are centrally located on each floor. Each toilet or shower stall is in a separate private room that can be locked from the inside. These restroom facilities are cleaned every day (including Sunday) by our janitorial/painting staff of five.
All units are charming and feature warm earth tone colors and are finished with extensive moldings, multiple color paint jobs, "Casablanca" style ceiling fans and track lighting. The floors are either painted concrete (great for artists who need not worry about making a mess on the floor) or wood floors with a beautiful oil finish. Finishing touches such as brass kick plates, dimmer switches, hand painted tiles and mini-blinds add an elegant touch.
All units are prewired for three phone lines and satellite TV. Additional phone lines can be provided at a nominal cost. Each unit has a telephone entry system which prevents access to the building except for guest and visitors of a specific tenant. Each building has on-site laundry facilities. All units have multiple electrical circuits for plenty of multimedia power.
Utilities: Building owner pays for water, gas (to provide hot water), garbage and janitorial services. Tenant pays only for electricity used.
